CIBSE conduct annual field visits to universities and colleges for students, academics, and staff interested in CIBSE membership, products and services.
Bobby Wright and Fiona Torrance visited the College of North West London in November 2007 and received an outstanding response from students and faculty interested in joining CIBSE. Students who are also employed are currently studying for an HNC that will fulfill the academic requirements for EngTech registration and Licentiate membership with CIBSE.
In January, Fiona visited Stockport College and received a similar enthusiastic response. CIBSE are producing a discounted publication package for students with options on CIBSE guides relevant to coursework. The package will be available very soon.
